Organizing Services FAQ’s

  • You’ll be most involved when sharing your goals and needs in the consult and in the editing/decluttering step. We’ll take care of the rest. Once the project is complete, we’ll walk you through your newly-organized space to review the systems with you.

  • You may be surprised how much easier it is once you have a system, labels, and less items in your space. When everything fits, has a purpose, and is in the most optimal spot, it’s much easier to maintain. We’ll consider storage products that are adaptable. Maintenance sessions are also available to accommodate your changing needs.

  • Containing items is an important step in the organizing process. They allow everything to have a home and KEEP things at your fingertips.

The cost allotted for storage products is typically about 30% of the project cost. However, every space is unique. I will work within your desired budget.

l'll make suggestions about what will suit your space and either you can order/shop, or the shopping can be done for you for an add-on fee. I have lists of recommendations in my Amazon Storefront and a trade discount with The Container Store. You also may have some containers in your home that are not being used in the optimal places and can be repurposed.

All in all, this is an investment that can prevent future waste and cost.

  • We all have that junk drawer, closet, or space at one time or another. Sometimes life pulls us away from our home management. It can be a lot. I’m here to help!

I value the trust it requires for you to allow me into your space. I adhere to the National Association of Professional Organizers Code of Ethics which emphasizes confidentiality, honesty, and integrity.

  • If you will be adding custom shelving or need an extensive amount of installation products, I can make referrals from my network of closet designers and facilitate the process.

  • Nothing will be thrown away without your permission. We will work together to store sentimental items appropriately and help you make decisions about things you are ready to let go of. We will always remember the goals and intentions you have for your space. I’m a minimalist with a sentimental soul, so I can help you strike that balance.
